Sydney Cenotaph in Martin Place

RSL NSW is the guardian of the Cenotaph in Martin Place and has the responsibility and privilege of ensuring the Cenotaph is respected.

RSL NSW President, James Brown “Our State Secretary and official Custodian of the Cenotaph has confirmed the memorial has not been damaged, but it has been disrespected and that is unacceptable to veterans and the public”.

The City of Sydney is assisting the clean-up, and police are investigating the individual who caused the incident.”
