PUBLIC STATEMENT

Former RSL NSW CEO Mr Glenn Kolomeitz

Prior to the most recent State Congress and the election of a new State President and Council, the former leadership of the RSL NSW made certain public statements concerning the conclusion of Mr Kolomeitz's employment with the organisation. The RSL NSW now withdraws those statements and apologises to Mr Kolomeitz for the distress caused by those statements and associated conduct by the RSL NSW.

Under new leadership, the RSL NSW has now reached an agreement with Mr Kolomeitz concerning the conclusion of his employment. Under the agreement, Mr Kolomeitz has agreed to accept a settlement package of $300,000 and the transfer to him of the car provided to him by RSL NSW under his employment contract. The RSL NSW and Mr Kolomeitz consider that the settlement that has been reached represents a fair and reasonable resolution to this matter.

The RSL NSW thanks Mr Kolomeitz for his services as State Secretary and Chief Executive Officer and acknowledges the significant work undertaken by Mr Kolomeitz in relation to improving governance within the RSL NSW.

RSL NSW and Mr Kolomeitz are not available for further comment.
